The Challenge

After launching the inaugural William Sutton Prize in 2018, Fuse was engaged again to help deliver and grow the awards for 2019.

With substantial investment awards up for grabs for those working to create socially innovative business, community interventions and prizes for excellence in placemaking and social spaces the event location, suppliers and overall feel had to reflect the mission of the William Sutton Prize.

The Solution

After another successful application process, resulting in an increased number of applications the event grew from 70 attendees in 2018 to over 100 in 2019. This growth lead to new challenges in venue finding and supplier sourcing and management.

Wishing to replicate the intimate, innovative and friendly celebration, which was held in 2018 at the Hub, Kings Cross, Fuse sourced the Rocket Space in Angel for the awards in 2019. Rocket Space is a hub of creative innovation, co-working spaces and a host of London's most innovative ethical business entrepreneurs.

Presented with a dry-hire venue Fuse also enlisted the B-Corp and Social enterprise caterers and pop-up wine bar producers to help cater the event along with full event production, trophy design and show running.
