THE CHALLENGE
To celebrate the launch of the British Council's Developing Inclusive and Creative Economies (DICE) initiative by bringing together 250 international delegates from over 12 countries for an evening of networking, dining and celebration.
The event was to be an inclusive evening showcasing British excellence in the creative and inclusive economy, social enterprise and hospitality. Our brief was to find a socially orientated venue with a 'wow' factor in central London, source social enterprise suppliers and evening entertainment.
THE SOLUTION
Working closely with the team at the British Council a thorough venue finding search was conducted and the stunning main hall in the newly renovated Battersea Arts Centre (BAC) came through as a clear favourite for the location, it did not disappoint!
Working with our social enterprise supply chain we brought in The Clink as main caterers for the event who produced a truly unique menu reflecting the international delegation attending as well as celebrating the best of British via a range of really dangerous (and delicious) puddings!
Working with the team at BAC a range of speaking moments and performance were also organised to puncture the evening, including some unforgettable performances and MC-ing from youth performance group BAC Beatbox Academy.
