THE CHALLENGE
The Community Leisure UK team approached FUSE to help find their perfect venue, revamp their awards ceremony, inject some creative social enterprise thinking to overhaul their supply chain and also provide some much needed support to produce and deliver the event on the night. The team also wanted to take the event to a new location with a clear social mission which impacted the local communtity, cue the amazing Lowry in Salford.
THE SOLUTION
A new client for Fuse, in 2019 the Community Leisure UK team have maintained their annual awards for a number of years but had clear aspirations to grow in size of the event, attract more sponsorship and further expand the reach of the amazing work they support in all of our communities. The annual awards they host are the key event in their sector calendar attracting over 200 key members of the community sport, leisure and fitness sectors for an evening of entertainment, awards and networking. Part celebration, part showcase, this special awards ceremony is typical of what good evening events are about – rewarding those who strive while inspiring and connecting people to new opportunities.
